How to Navigate EU Funding for Pacific Innovation

This course provides a clear and practical overview of the main EU funding programs available for education, agriculture, tourism, environmental sustainability, and innovation. Drawing on real examples from the Pacific region, participants learn how programs like Erasmus+, Horizon Europe, the Global Gateway, NDICI/Global Europe, and the EU–Pacific Green-Blue Alliance support mobility, research, green transformation, digital innovation, and economic development.
The module explains how calls for proposals work, what evaluators expect, and how to match project ideas with EU priorities. Participants also explore eligibility rules for Pacific Island Countries, opportunities for universities, students, farmers, and tourism SMEs, and the broader geopolitical context shaping cooperation between Europe and the Pacific .
The course equips learners with the knowledge to identify suitable funding opportunities, design effective partnerships, and create competitive proposals aligned with EU strategies for sustainable, resilient, and inclusive growth.
